The H2OLOX Gloss Finish product requires a sealer. We recommend using the UNIVERSAL Tung Oil Sealer for the sealer coat.
Check our Product Spread Rates to ensure you have enough sealer and finish product on hand or include it at check out.
*If working with softer woods (i.e. pine, fir, beech, hevea, cherry, walnut, etc.), oily/exotic woods (i.e. IPE, cocobolo, teak, rosewood, mahogany etc.), and woods with high tannin content (i.e. white and red oak, walnut, cherry), a second sealer coat is recommended. View our Application Guide for details. For more information on wood hardness comparisons, view our Janka Hardness Scale guide.
