In most cases, when finishing wood, a sealer and finish product is required. We provide product requirement diagrams for each product family below. Our products are built off a 3 coat system (1 sealer coat and 2 finish coats), but on some occasions additional coats are needed.

*If working with softer woods (i.e. pine, fir, beech, hevea, cherry, walnut, etc.), a second sealer coat is recommended. View our Application Guide for details. For more information on wood hardness comparisons, view our Janka Hardness Scale guide.
